Selina is the Managing Director and Co-Founder of the UK’s first B Corporation event and creative agency, The Bulb. The Bulb works with brands and organisations to design and deliver their events and campaigns, their point of difference is that all work is produced to have a positive environmental and social impact.
Selina has been the creative force behind brand experiences for ASOS, Lush, Vivienne Westwood, Schuh and Freshfields as well as important global causes including producing the #March4Women 2018, the UN’s climate change negotiation events and as a committee member for UN Women UK.
Prior to The Bulb, Selina curated and produced the programme of events on behalf of Her Majesty’s Government for the British House during the Rio 2016 Olympics. She was also part of the production team responsible for delivering the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Opening and Closing Ceremonies and an integral member of the core campaign team for England’s FIFA 2018 World Cup Bid. Selina has also held management roles for the award winning ITV events team and has worked globally in the Middle East, the United States and across Europe.
Selina’s epiphany moment came while working on the London 2012 Opening and Closing Ceremonies, which served as memorable bookends for the most sustainable Olympic Games to-date. It became clear to her then that weaving sustainability considerations into all event aspects was the only way forward. Selina’s mission in co-founding The Bulb is to create great events that leave the best legacy possible.
